Make Google Gemini Enterprise act in Snowflake — safely

Gemini reasons across your Workspace and connected data — Upware carries those decisions into Snowflake as governed, audited queries that respect masking and row-level security.

The gap

Google Gemini Enterprise stops at the Snowflake boundary

Gemini reasons well across Workspace and connected sources, but executing governed actions in operational systems of record needs a dedicated execution layer.

A CFO question that actually closes

A CFO asks Gemini to pull Q2 margin trends by region and flag any product lines below threshold before the board call. Gemini identifies the right question; Upware takes it from there — issuing a scoped query against the approved Snowflake tables, enforcing the column masking policies already in place, and writing the summarized results to the designated reporting table. Every query is logged with the originating agent, the user context, and a timestamp. The CFO gets an accurate answer; the data team gets a clean audit trail without writing a single line of custom code.

The harness

AI to learn. Deterministic to execute.

Upware learns the process once and encodes it as a mostly-deterministic workflow: system interactions replay exactly, and any LLM steps are wrapped in policy, verification, and audit — so execution stays governed and drift-proof.

O
Observe & Learn
Records the real workflow once, across every system it touches.
G
Generate
Builds the API, data flow, and logic automatically — no integration project.
E
Encapsulate
Wraps it as a governed AI skill over secure MCP or API.
R
Run
Executes deterministically — RBAC, audit, and scale built in.
FAQ

Common questions

Does Upware need a dedicated Snowflake service account, or does it work with our existing access controls?
Upware operates through your existing Snowflake credentials and honors the RBAC roles already defined there. It does not bypass row-level security or column masking — those policies apply to every query Upware issues on behalf of an agent. You assign the agent a role with the minimum required privileges, and Upware enforces that boundary at runtime.
What happens if Gemini constructs a query that would touch data the user isn't authorized to see?
Upware wraps each action in policy verification before execution. If the resolved query scope conflicts with the agent's assigned role or row-level security rules, the action is blocked and logged rather than silently degraded. The agent gets a clear response; your audit trail gets a record. Nothing is silently permitted.
Can Upware write results back to Snowflake tables, or is it read-only?
Upware supports both read and write actions in Snowflake — running governed queries, reading analytics, and writing results back to approved destination tables. Write permissions are scoped explicitly: you define which tables an agent can write to and under what conditions. Every write is captured in the audit trail alongside the originating agent identity.
