Make Microsoft Copilot act in Microsoft Dynamics 365 — safely

Microsoft Copilot reasons across your sales data and triggers the right next step — Upware carries that instruction into Dynamics 365 as a governed, attributed write with a full audit trail.

The gap

Microsoft Copilot stops at the Microsoft Dynamics 365 boundary

Copilot is strong across Microsoft 365 and connector-reachable apps, but acting in legacy, on-prem, or API-less systems needs a governed execution layer underneath.

From Copilot Insight to Dynamics Action

A sales rep asks Copilot to advance an opportunity after a successful demo call. Copilot identifies the deal, drafts the summary note, and hands the instruction to Upware. Upware replays the exact sequence inside Dynamics 365: updates the opportunity stage, posts the activity note under the rep's identity, and attaches the approval record. The entire write is logged against the rep's RBAC role — no manual entry, no attribution gap, and a clean audit trail Finance can rely on.

The harness

AI to learn. Deterministic to execute.

Upware learns the process once and encodes it as a mostly-deterministic workflow: system interactions replay exactly, and any LLM steps are wrapped in policy, verification, and audit — so execution stays governed and drift-proof.

O
Observe & Learn
Records the real workflow once, across every system it touches.
G
Generate
Builds the API, data flow, and logic automatically — no integration project.
E
Encapsulate
Wraps it as a governed AI skill over secure MCP or API.
R
Run
Executes deterministically — RBAC, audit, and scale built in.
FAQ

Common questions

Does Upware need a Dynamics 365 API licence or a custom connector to act inside the system?
No. Upware learns the Dynamics workflow by recording how a user actually operates it — UI events, web requests, and screen state — and replays those interactions deterministically at runtime. If a Dynamics environment exposes an API, Upware will use it; if it doesn't, or if your configuration isn't API-reachable, Upware still operates. That covers on-prem deployments and heavily customised instances that connectors typically can't reach.
Dynamics holds SOX-relevant financial records. How do we ensure every write is attributed and approvable?
Every action Upware executes is tied to an identity through RBAC policies defined before the skill goes live. Writes post under the authorised user's credentials, not a shared service account. A full, timestamped audit trail captures what was written, who authorised it, and which agent instruction triggered it — giving your compliance team the attribution chain SOX and internal controls require.
Copilot Studio already has Dynamics connectors. Why add Upware?
Copilot Studio connectors work well for standard Dynamics configurations exposed through Microsoft's connector surface. The gaps show up with customised entities, on-prem instances, legacy data integrations, or process flows that sit outside what a connector can reach. Upware fills that execution layer — it handles the actions Copilot can reason about but cannot reliably complete on its own, and wraps every one of them in policy, verification, and audit.
