Make Microsoft Copilot act in Salesforce — safely

Microsoft Copilot reasons over your pipeline and cases; Upware carries out the writes in Salesforce with full attribution, policy enforcement, and an audit trail behind every change.

Governed by policy & RBAC Full audit trail Outbound-only on-prem bridge No rip-and-replace
The gap

Microsoft Copilot stops at the Salesforce boundary

Copilot is strong across Microsoft 365 and connector-reachable apps, but acting in legacy, on-prem, or API-less systems needs a governed execution layer underneath.

In practice

From Copilot conversation to closed case

A support lead asks Copilot to resolve a critical Salesforce case and log the resolution notes from the Teams call transcript. Copilot extracts the outcome and hands the action to Upware. Upware's on-prem bridge replays the exact sequence it learned from your team's recorded workflow: it updates the case status, attaches the call summary as an activity, and triggers the approved Salesforce Flow that notifies the account team. Every field write is attributed to the requesting user, bounded by RBAC, and logged in the audit trail. The lead sees a confirmation in chat; the Salesforce record reflects reality within seconds.

The harness

AI to learn. Deterministic to execute.

Upware learns the process once and encodes it as a mostly-deterministic workflow: system interactions replay exactly, and any LLM steps are wrapped in policy, verification, and audit — so execution stays governed and drift-proof.

O
Observe & Learn
Records the real workflow once, across every system it touches.
G
Generate
Builds the API, data flow, and logic automatically — no integration project.
E
Encapsulate
Wraps it as a governed AI skill over secure MCP or API.
R
Run
Executes deterministically — RBAC, audit, and scale built in.
FAQ

Common questions

Salesforce has APIs. Why do I need Upware at all?
APIs exist, but most Salesforce orgs have approval Flows, validation rules, and field-level security that raw API calls can quietly bypass. Upware learns your team's actual workflow, including the Flows they trigger and the steps they follow, and replays that exact sequence. This means an AI agent never goes around your existing governance. Every action is also attributed and reversible, which matters when revenue and forecast objects are SOX-relevant.
How does Copilot hand off an action to Upware? Does my team need to build custom connectors?
No custom connectors required. Upware exposes each learned Salesforce workflow as a governed skill over MCP or a standard API endpoint. You register that skill in Copilot Studio the same way you would any other action. From there, Copilot can invoke it naturally during a conversation. The actual execution runs deterministically through Upware's bridge, so the LLM is only involved in understanding the request, not in touching your CRM.
What happens if Copilot tries to do something outside what Upware was taught, or outside what the user is allowed to do?
Upware only executes what it has explicitly learned and encapsulated. Requests that fall outside a defined skill are rejected rather than improvised. RBAC policies travel with the skill, so a user who cannot modify an opportunity in Salesforce cannot do so through Copilot either. The attempt is logged, the action does not happen, and your compliance posture stays intact.
