Make Salesforce Agentforce act in Slack — safely

Agentforce reasons over your pipeline and customer data — Upware carries the action across into Slack with the identity, policy enforcement, and audit trail your enterprise requires.

The gap

Salesforce Agentforce stops at the Slack boundary

Agentforce is strongest inside Salesforce. The moment a process crosses into billing, ERP, or a legacy system it doesn't own, it needs a governed path to act there.

In practice

From CRM insight to governed Slack action

A renewal is flagged at risk in Salesforce. Agentforce identifies the right account executive and drafts a recommended response, but the next step involves posting an approval request to a Slack channel and logging the outcome back to the billing system. Upware picks up exactly there: it posts the structured request to the correct Slack channel under the rep's verified identity, enforces the approval policy, and writes the confirmed outcome back to the system of record. The full sequence is captured in an immutable audit trail — who saw it, who approved it, and what changed. No API wrangling, no custom code, and no step taken outside of RBAC-governed policy.

The harness

AI to learn. Deterministic to execute.

Upware learns the process once and encodes it as a mostly-deterministic workflow: system interactions replay exactly, and any LLM steps are wrapped in policy, verification, and audit — so execution stays governed and drift-proof.

O
Observe & Learn
Records the real workflow once, across every system it touches.
G
Generate
Builds the API, data flow, and logic automatically — no integration project.
E
Encapsulate
Wraps it as a governed AI skill over secure MCP or API.
R
Run
Executes deterministically — RBAC, audit, and scale built in.
FAQ

Common questions

Agentforce can already post Slack notifications natively. Why does Upware add anything here?
Posting a notification and executing a governed action are different things. Native Salesforce-to-Slack connectors can surface information, but when the action needs to touch systems outside Salesforce — updating a billing record, writing to an ERP, or triggering a process in a legacy system with no API — there is no governed path. Upware provides that path: a deterministic execution layer with RBAC, policy enforcement, and a full audit trail, regardless of which system sits at the other end.
How does Upware know what Slack actions are permitted for a given user or agent?
Upware enforces RBAC at the action level, not just at the authentication level. Each AI skill Upware exposes carries its own policy definition: which identities can invoke it, under what conditions, and with what verification steps. When Agentforce triggers an action through Upware into Slack, the request is checked against those policies before anything executes. The result, and the policy check itself, are written to the audit trail.
We have several Slack-connected systems with no public API. Can Upware still learn and execute those workflows?
Yes. Upware's core capability is learning workflows from the desktop itself — recording UI events, screen state, and network traffic to generate the integration, even when no API exists. Once learned, the workflow is encapsulated as a governed AI skill and replays deterministically. Your legacy systems stay exactly where they are; Upware's on-prem bridge handles the execution without exposing data or requiring inbound connectivity.
